Unveiling the Canvas. My Artistic journey with VR Media Decor

Hi Steve here, I would like to share a bit of my world with you. You might know me as the founder of VR Media, a creative venture that's been a part of my life since the late '90s. But there's more to the story, and I'm going to bring you along on this ride with me.

Passion and Goals My journey began I suppose when I left school. From my early days studying Graphic Design in college to my years working at advertising agencies, I've always had a love for creativity and design. I felt compelled to help others sell their product or services and felt that the best way to do that was by thinking like the consumer. "Would I like to wear that shoe?, "How would that product look in their home?" It was always about my clients and finding the right fit for their products.

In 1999, I took the plunge and launched VR Media, a graphic design business that did well. I was lucky enough back then to register the catchy business name and acquire the domain for it.

As the years passed, I felt I wanted to free myself from just selling someone else's products but to start expressing myself artistically. So here we are in 2023, and I've embarked on a new adventure – adding my artwork to VR Media Decor.

The Artistic Transition This year, in January 2023, I began this exciting journey of transforming my physical, as well as my digital work into tangible art pieces. Some of this art has been tucked away, waiting for their moment to shine. Others are fresh expressions of my creativity.

My vision is simple. I believe that art can enhance and complement our living spaces, and VR Media Decor is my way of bringing that vision to life. Through this blog, I aim to not only share my artwork but also offer insights and advice based on my experience in the world of design and creativity.

Along the way, I've encountered my fair share of challenges. I've navigated the ever-changing landscape of art promotion and marketing, all while staying true to my passion. I've seen trends come and go, encountered scammers and marketing promises that seemed too good to be true, and even explored the world of NFTs.

But through it all, my love for art has remained unwavering, and I'm excited to share the lessons I've learned and the humour I've found in these experiences with you.
